The System of the World

More from my bookshelves. Neal Stephenson's backlist is even more worth reading than the recent things; Snowcrash and The Diamond Age were mind openingly predictive and worth reading again. Having enjoyed Cryptonomicon, I found The Baroque Cycle (the three hardbacks here) much slower going. Might be time for a reread. 
In extras, Patricia McKillip - lovely lyrical fantasy writing. The Riddle Master trilogy is the place to start. And a sunset.  

A book day. Sorted and priced old books in the morning. Read most of the afternoon, though there was a walk. Cool, dry, overcast.
