Happy New Year!

Happy New Year or Blwyddyn Newydd Dda, from us to you! Let’s hope 2022 is better than the last couple of years and brings good health, happiness and lots of laughter.

We went to see mum in the care home this morning and she looked really well. Big decisions have to made over the coming weeks, I'm going to try and speak to the care home manager next week to get some feedback on how she's managing. I know she still wants to go home and I've now got additional care in place if that happens, so it'll be interesting to see what help she's been needing through the night. Her accessible bathroom work starts next week which would make life easier too, but then if she goes home, she may find it's not all she's hoping for when she's on her own with no one to talk to for most of the time. Difficult decisions!

After our visit we went to see the seal colony at Angel Bay which is off the Little Orme. The seals go there every year at pupping season and there’s quite a lot there. A couple of months ago we saw a pup that had just been born and were surprised at how big they’ve grown!

We then popped into Llandudno to go to some of the outdoor shops, I wanted some new waterproof trousers and Alan wanted a self inflating camping mattress for his next project with Bertie Bus. Shopping was successful for both of us and then we headed home to get ready to go to Yvonne’s for a New Years drink.

She picked us up at 5pm and we stayed for a couple of hours before heading home for dinner and then had a ticket for Chris Moyles NYE DJ set which was very good.

Hope you all had a good one too!
