Wensleydale walk
We were up till 2am chatting and drinking champagne so I was surprised we felt up to a black pudding and scrambled egg breakfast. Soon we headed for Carperby where we parked up for a 5.5 mile walk. The route took us up to the limestone ridge so we were heading into the wind. That certainly blew away any remaining cobwebs. We crossed the top of a pretty waterfall - the blip is looking down the beck towards the valley. The Ure is down there Then we dropped down to follow the river back.
It has been so lovely to spend time with Sheila and Mike. Hopefully 2022 will be a good year.
This is the 9th New Year’s Day blip I have done. I tried to do cold turkey after 2 years but by March I was back.
