Happy 8th birthday Nathaniel

We had a late breakfast of poached egg and smoked salmon with S and M then drove north to call on Nathaniel after his birthday party at Jump360.

Mr C and Thomas set to building the goal net we got Nathaniel. Then we watched the boys take turns in goal. This is James on the penalty spot with Nathaniel in goal.

Ella has perfected a few more magic tricks so showed #2 daughter and me those. It wasn’t long before Luke’s mum, sisters and partners arrived so after saying hello and avoiding the hugs offered (they’d been at clubs and parties since Christmas) we headed home to get the house warmed up before the forecasted cold snap.

I have bought the Ordnance survey maps app for my phone so hopefully I’ll can plan and track my walks for the year. I aim to do the end to end 874 miles.

We’re going to have a relax with a film if we can decide between Don’t Look Up and Nomadland on Netflix.
