New Year’s Day walk

The first sunrise of the new year was pink and lovely.  We went up onto Harting Down for a longish walk before lunch to try and dodge bad weather.  There were so many people up there for a Down that is normally fairly deserted.  I liked this picture with the gorse shining bright and the dog picking up the light too.  

  Home made soup and left over cheese from last night for lunch before I disappeared into the office to finish off my tax stuff.  Now I’m a Landlady it is all much more complicated but my main issue is converting and attaching the right documents.   Watched the final a VBS, written by my good friend and collaborator Sarah Phelps.  Lots to discuss!
