Erasure

Back in the same spot as yesterday where I came across the goose/heron tracks, but today they were filled in with snow. Wispy wind blown snow had made some interesting shapes as it drifted across the ice towards them.

Whereas yesterday the imprints were darker in the surrounding ice, today they are white. I wonder whether the goose/heron purposely walked around the twig to avoid tripping up.

Trying to bring out the texture and shapes in white is tricky.
