get yourself a sexy raincoat*

*thanks to Billy Conolly

It was wet but I had the right clothing (no, not a raincoat but it did the job anyway). Walked along the road to Irongray Church and then back again - 5.41 miles.

My blip shows part of the sandstone Millennium Stone. 21 years ago, on a snowy Hogmanay, the ribbon was cut by the oldest and youngest residents of the parish. I remember being worried that I might not get my car back out of the car park because of the snow. The stone was engraved using drawings made by the pupils of Shawhead School, which all three of my children attended. The curlew is their school emblem.
