It's a new day

And a change of mindset.

I got to the office in a grumpy mood, still no connectivity but the few folk there were in a far more positive mood, and we all got stuck in to get some reorganisation of the office done to enable combined teams to work together.

Then Bouvier Rescue were asked to collect a Bouvier cross from a animal rescue place in Pretoria. Wollies have a great reputation and do a great job of getting specific breeds strays out to their rescue organisations.

It felt odd to sit and reassure this gorgeous boy for the best part of an hour’s drive without being able to call him by name but he has clearly been loved and has lovely manners.

Marenzia will do her job of assessing him, get all the normal health checks done, and if all is okay, we are sure this young man will soon find his new home.

Were we tempted? Oh yes, but he is just too boisterous and strong for our old lady.
