Potatoe fields

My car was in annual service today in the morning. It is so nice to drive also in winter. I really like the steering touch of it, and everything. Even though especially small streets are now like potato fields.

Or like you were driving in cold oat porridge.

As I was a child we had proper snowplough equipment in Finland. Those "Tiekarhu" (= "Road Bear") -style strong equipment had two blades and they beveled the street surfaces efficiently and the snow was really gone by one drive.

Today those big machines are retired (expect one in this area) and tractors (more agile and also summer time usable machines) have taken place. Most of the tractors cant bevel the street surface properly, so there always is some amount or more snow left....

Pedestrian walks are not always cleaned, if some house owner has not been able to clean up the surroundings.

Today an evening walk in Tesoma area. A slow walk as we met few friends and stopped for a chat. It was snowing again, as you can see. We were all white as we got into supermarket. Some 15cm delivery of snow is forecasted for the night. Remains to be seen how it goes.

Cloudy day - 1c.

Corona seems to be easy to reach, we have not succeeded yet. Stay safe!
