All the way down and all the way up

Thank you for all the stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip of the Old Neptune. I’m delighted you liked it. It’s a very fine pub in a wonderful location and we’re looking forward to be able to enjoy it again soon. If I haven’t already thanked you for your heart I will do directly.

Todays blip is from the Vinters Valley Nature Reserve, a sliver of land between two housing developments which was one part of the Vinters Park Estate, the house of which is no longer with us. The path up the other side can be seen to the top right. https://vintersvalley.co.uk/about-the-reserve/

We were on our way to Cotswold Outdoor shop to make some purchases for our upcoming trip to the Dolomites in February. Postponed from last year it looks like we’re going this time. We’re anxious of course and there’s paperwork to be done although not so much as we were expecting.

The Christmas decorations came down today, Susan dismantled most of it and packed them away. They’re in the loft and the place looks quite bare.
