Life lesson

Reminded by @treshnish to take close up pictures too I photographed my lovingly curated bowl of palest pink hyacinths that got duffed up by three large blue ones that must have been mislabeled.   I like to see it as a life lesson in accepting the unexpected.  But am also slightly irritated as I had a vision of a cloud of pink over a golden bowl. 

This afternoon I went off to buy a present for goddaughter niece coming to lunch on Sunday but was out in the filthiest weather so it wasn’t much fun and spent a long time on the phone anyway.
