2022 Thursday — An Apple a Day

It has been one week and a day since Mr. Fun’s surgery. His throat is in terrible pain we think because of the tube used during surgery.

He spoke with his surgeon this morning. The doctor said, “Take Motrin, be patient and wait, it is a complication of surgery.”

Mr. Fun can hardly swallow and when he does he says it is like a ball of fire going down his throat. He won’t let me take him to “Urgent Care” because his surgeon told him on the phone this morning “to be patient and wait.” Hard advice to hear.

The surgeon also said the pathology on the lipoma removed from the back of Mr. Fun’s neck had no cancer cells. Very good news.
