The day to start is today

I like long walks

especially when they are taken by people that annoy me

Armshouse in Axbridge for a catch up with a friend this morning, a very civilised Latte I have got to say. I must get back down there for a meal one afternoon, almost on the doorstop and didn't realise it was there. Note to self - take more notice of what's around you !!

Then youngest and myself went off to Noah's Ark Zoo. She and I both love it so visit when ever we get some time together, without the other sisters, as it is not their 'thing'. Great for us though.

Birds of Prey weren't flying as it was on the windy side (I am not complaining I am just pointing out it was T O O windy!!) We both had our compulsory 6 layers on we can confirm a definite chill factor - but Sunshine :)

We both wondered at some points whether some of the people should be in the cages on display so they could be observed. Youngest gets quite frustrated (like myself) with the window tappers, wire fence shakers and those weird little noises people make to the animals to make them pay attention to them ???? She asked if her an her sisters ever did that sort of thing, and she was pleased when I said no they had always just patiently watched and waited and had been rewarded in the past with some brilliant animal encounters that others had missed because they were too noisy, too impatient or irritating the animals with camera flashes and then seemed suprised when the animals hadn't performed.

Early bedtime tonight - Welsh hill to climb tomorrow - but they are all quite big hills over there, not sure whether it's a good idea or not. Only time will tell.
