What goes up, must come down.

After a fantastically exhausting night followed by hours of dancing at the after party club a few brief hours of sleep were had before heading back up the hill to take it all down again.

Spent an hour or so shifting fencing, picking litter, dismantling structures etc before prep was started on the BBQ. A few of us got hungry waiting for the BBQ so decided to head to our local for nachos and a nice sit down in the warm rather than the rain. More people showed up before we moved to a different pub (via the mosque for curry). Everyone was exhuasted, many still painted from the day before but all equally happy for the night we'd had.

Today's photo is of my friend Kat, she was one of the lovely Blue Men at Beltane this year. They get to carry withies, do amazing back bends and generally be feirce looking and shift the crowd so the procession can get through. Stand in their way and you will get hit with their sticks. She looked amazing on the night and still managed to look good at the derig despite being sleep deprived and only half washed.
