Hollyhocks getting started

The hollyhocks by the greenhouse got hit by the early December frosts but they've started growing new leaves.

This is their second year which means they should flower in the summer. I have no idea what they'll look like - a colleague gave me seeds from the garden of the college where we teach so time will tell what colour I get!
