Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

We were having a chat during the holidays about family “quirks”:

The 96 (give or take a few) names we call Murphy. All In a variety of different voices.

“Can you bid-le-bong my phone?” means asking for the ‘find my phone alert’ to be activated for a misplaced phone (normally mine).

Saying (in a pretend grumpy voice) or singing “all by myself,” is quite a normal response when turning down an offer of help.

All remotes in our house are called “dooferedoos”.

Asking (the person with the dooferedoo) to fast-forward the ads is done by saying “bloo, bloo, bloo” in a slightly high pitched voice.* Obviously!
