Diary of an Edinburgher

Shopping!

Here is my breakfast companion - with pleading eyes, hoping that I will leave the last wee spoonful of porridge and put it in his dish.

Zoe popped in this morning - she was in the area with her mum, as she has Wednesdays off work. We never did get across town to visit her before Christmas, but caught up with her news today.

JR then took Archie for a walk. I went to pick up his worming pills from the vet. But I took the bus both ways. In fact, as I sat in the bus on the way home, I just decided to go on into town to go to M&S for some items. I’ve been meaning to go shopping there for ages. Job done.

I had my playlist on ‘shuffle’ which is great, as songs I haven’t heard for ages pop up. Much better than the awful M&S playlist.

When I came home, we watched Ricky Gervais’s ‘After Life’. I’ve read so much about it, and it sounded, er, quite unusual. I thought we should give it a try. We enjoyed a binge of the first three episodes. It’s good. Very good.

News today that the American judge has decided that Andy Windsor cannot hide behind the secret paedophile agreement. Good! He really must be sweating now!

BJ, our floundering, bumbling PM explained to Parliament that he considered the BYOB evening soirée he attended with 30-odd people in Number 10 garden during strict lockdown was a ‘work event’ - NOT a party. Words fail me…

Noticed some interesting billboards around the neighbourhood… (Extra)
