Winter sunlight

A beautiful sunny morning greeted us today so we cycled to Braishfield to  visit our favourite Sir Harold Hillier Garden. Here is a view looking over the pond as steam (?) was rising where the sun's rays warmed the earth.
The winter garden still looked spectacular with the flowering Witch Hazels and Dogwood stems. I was pleased to see Winter Aconites, Eranthis hyemalis, just coming into flower, too. (See extra)
