The season to turn..

Regular followers will know that I've been ploughing today. Until last year, I had never ploughed. In my job, I had to supervise people ploughing, or drilling, or spraying, or fertilising, or harvesting, but I was not an expert in these tasks.

my role was to make sure the treatments were applied at the right rate, to the right plots, while the operator/driver was responsible for the correct setting up and operation of any machinery. So now I'm getting the chance to play myself!! I don't think the result is too bad, far from perfect, but it's brown side up

A quick rotavate, and I'll be planting peas and beans, parsnips, salsify and schorzonera..
