On the beach

Fortunately our visit to the beach was much happier than the apocalyptic novel  with this title by Neville Shute which I have read several times…..perhaps the optimist in me always hopes for a happy ending.
Bertie and his gang rushed around having fun while we humans socialised with friends who had also been drawn by the (almost) sunny day. A couple of the humans were crazy enough to go for a swim!
Thank you for all the lovely comments about N’s splash-back yesterday. He is not good at recognising how skilled and talented he is so when I read your comments to him he was quite embarrassed, but I thank you on his behalf.
