150+2
Recent newspaper reports commented on the marking of the 150th anniversary of the death of Greyfriars Bobby 2 days ago. So I popped along to see after church this morning.
A new memorial has been treated in the cemetery’s of Greyfriars Kirk - see extra. However, I prefer the main statue.
Despite the lovely weather, much of the day sorting out the attic as a tradesman will require access to the cisterns there. Easier said than done but much progress made and the bulk of the Christmas decorations now packed and stored away.
I even had time to get outside and begin sanding the handrail by the path in readiness for the weather warming even further so I can get the painting redone. And do some more paperwork. Is Sunday not meant to be a day of rest?
