Après-ski Ciao Sepp

Well, felt quite a lot better in the morning, a very light headache, but definitely didn’t want to miss the last day skiing. My son decided to go back home after breakfast and miss the last day. He is under stress trying to prepare their car, an old VW Golf GTI for the MFK/MOT/WOF. He has replaced nearly everything, spent hours on it. He has to leave for the Kaserne on Mon morning, then Mr S will have to take it to the test.
Mr S seems to have picked up my lurgy, so it was just my daughter and I heading up to the sun drenched quiet pistes. What a great ski we had, but she doesn’t like to wait for me, she only has one speed, the fastest possible. Her old mum doesn’t ski so fast and needs a few breaks! We did lots of long runs, had lunch at the Bettmer Hute, and played a few games of Gin rummy out in the sun. Mr S was feeling a bit better, so we met him at the Eggishorn cablecar, and went to the viewpoint again. After we went to the Kühstall bar for Après-ski Glühwein and a few games of Ciao Sepp, ( a bit like Black Jack) soaked up the last rays of sun in the comfy outdoor lounge area. Great end to a super ski week.
