Although this is a truly shit awful photo it captures the experience of the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. The existence of a queue wasn't bad in itself - you expect a little queue - but the creation of the queue by having small groups of people locked in a room while they watched a five minute film was a bad start. Stopping the queue for 10 minutes (after you've been waiting half an hour) so that a group of tourists could skip ahead, was pretty annoying. That the whole thing was just models of scenes from the stories was what made it truly awful. The models, although well enough made (apart from the one of Mr McGregor, which was a bit of a mutant). I will concede that if you were between the ages of 3 and 8 and especially if you were a girl, it was marvellous.
