A perfect day
Woke to clear skies and a touch of frost. We'd talked about paddleboarding, not having been on our boards for some time, so loaded up the car and headed from Kettlewell. It was mirror calm, and surprisingly warm in the sun (freezing in the shade) - but I kept warm in a dry suit given to me by a friend who can no longer use it.
A couple of hours paddling up the river Derwent and on the lake, then a walk along the river banks, simply couldn't have had a better day.
