Golden morning…
at one of my favourite places. The main shows the area overall and the extra shows the terrain, most unusual for the mountains. This is why the Mountain Hares favour this location and rabbits too find it easy to burrow. Because there are so many of them there are many Stoats and raptors, such as the White tailed sea eagle, Kestrels, Merlin, Buzzards too but they prefer scavenging . The Wheatears use the burrows for nesting too and Sand Martin’s like the cliff tops. The heather is full of Pipits and so there are lots of Cuckoos here too. However, it is still winter, so, despite the sun, I didn’t see much! But it was lovely walking.
