Female Goosander

Another cold but sunny day so we headed out for a wander, and ended up at Hanningfield Reservoir where we hadn't been for ages! Always nice to go back, and the cafe was a lovely place to start! Isn't it always!

Had a lovely walk round some of the woodland - very little bird life about though! In one of the hides I spotted this female goosander out on the reservoir, and then back towards the cafe there were lots of ducks and geese of all varieties hoping for some treats! Will have to take them some over next time we visit!
