Amakihi

One of the Hawaiian honey creepers . Most Hawaii native birds are endangered , this is apparently one of the more common native birds.There were two flitting in and out of the bushes.There were also a few apanepane in an O'hia tree ( also native) and i'iwi . The extras are Haleakala volcano ( dormant) which looks like Mars and has an extensive Observatory complex at its peak.
