Catkins (and Andrea)

Mr C’s postponed dental appointment was today. The dentist had been in bed for 10 days with Covid. While he was in the chair I dived into White Stuff and got jeans and a pair of sludgy green cords in the sale. They match the still-being knitted cardy. Everyone in Morpeth was wearing a mask even in the street. I think they just want to defy the PM and his gung-ho attitude.

We’d arranged a walk with Andrea and Pete who live in Morpeth. It took ages to get through a legoland of housing estates before we reached some open ground. The catkins were very pretty at this spot. The walk was 5.5 miles in gorgeous sunshine. The birds are being tricked into thinking it is spring.

Thank you Inkface for suggesting I get Ella’s handstand photo enlarged. It’s her 10th birthday next month so I’ll see if Vistaprint do posters or something similar. She was so pleased with the photo so will love it.
