This morning we had a really unusual walk. We drove to Symondsbury and walked along 2 of the famous holloways or sunken pathways. There are several in Dorset but the best known areShute Lane and Hell Lane. These are created purely overtime by horses hooves, cart wheels and peoples feet and in some places are 20 feet below ground level. The photo is from Hell Lane. There is a lot of graffiti in some of the sandstone but some it pretty impressive ( extra)
