Bloody windy (Day 2457)
It has been bloody windy all day today. The morning wander with Sigyn was a struggle. On the way back to the car the wind and slippery mud underfoot conspired to knock me down.
When
my beautiful wife and I arrived at the barn to deal with the horses, we struggled to get in because the door is on the windward side of the barn. The wooden wall of the barn was flexing by an inch as the gusts of wind hit it. The horses had got themselves in some shelter and we're happy enough.
Home for lunch then out with Sigyn at Lyde. Heading back to the car was much more pleasant as the wind pushed us back up the hill.
A brief respite at home then out to the horses again, the view from the yard looking much nicer than it was. Hopefully the forecast is right and the wind will ease soon.
