Artwork using recycled materials.

This piece of artwork is called Alexpennacplaz…because it is an interpretation of Alexander Platz in Berlin! Having looked at a photo of the square in Berlin I don’t see much resemblance! I think it includes a circuit board from a laptop or similar.

It is part of a small exhibition which I went to see this afternoon in a local Arts Centre. The artwork was made by the Lad’Art group formed when Laura and Daniela noticed the accumulation of rubbish in their homes: plastics, packaging, telephones, laptops and other redundant appliances. So they have recycled some of the waste into artwork. Interesting to look at but I don’t think I would want any on display in my house!
