Patterns

The morning light picks out the patterns on the surface of the estuary sand.
I find those, with the ever changing channels, fascinating to look at. But the frequent quicksands make it a very dangerous place. We are fortunate to have a Coastguard station in the village. It is equipped with specialist equipment which has saved many lives over the years.
