It is rare to meet anyone on our country walks but today we passed men working on an old barn and two tractors passed on this track. In fact I think we have only twice met anyone walking there. The sun shone and fortunately the heavy showers missed us until we were home when the sky turned black and there was sleety snow which still lies on the grass several hours later.
