Friday: Sweet Aunty V

We had a lovely lunch with Aunty V and Uncle E today, meeting at ‘Fat Mao’ which we all enjoy.

 As some of you know, in addition to being our good friends, they are aunty and uncle to the famous blip siblings, Folkie Booknerd and Rocknerd.  They have been such good friends to us -  not only while we were here but before too. It’s thanks to E that we have lived in our wonderful house.   My employer had chosen several different houses for us, unbeknownst to us some were on major roads, crossroads, construction sites etc.  It was E who gave us a second opinion on the location of each one, so when he said this one was good, we knew we’d be fine.

Prior to lunch, K and I went to Granville Island and had a good browse in the excellent ‘Upstart & Crow’ bookshop, having previously agreed that purchases would be made.
