Saturday: Local History Books

A fine start this morning soon turned for the worse: rain, wind, cold and grey … I think the whole of the British Isles are suffering under this weather :-((
After yesterday’s excitement of finding ancestors from the 1500s today’s research became confused and contradictory … so I gave it a rest and finished off my very thick book of fiction !
Also went in search of my local history books with the intention of scribbling notes down … tomorrow :-))
