Morning Snow

Snow on the ground first thing, and a fairly calm morning.  Winds picked up throughout the day, bring showers, wintery at times.

Up fairly early, and got ready for work.  I was meant to have a day off, but was called in for overtime, and on the late shift.  I was a fairly quiet day in the airport.  I was mostly on the check-in desk, helping at the heli end too.  Niece Michaela was in Scalloway for netball tonight, so met up with SIL Ruth for walkies.  Feet up now.  

There was a bit of snow overnight, leaving a new dusting in places.  The further south I went, the less had fallen,  with none at Sumburgh.  When I arrived home this evening, it had all thawed again.  Looking across to my neighbours, Houl Road, Scalloway.
