Walking to da Alps

A beautiful sunny day, calm too.  A cold night, and some snow showers, mostly north so far.

Up early, and headed out walkies after breakfast.  The rest of the morning was puttering about the house.  Met friend Julie for walkies with the dogs in the afternoon.  Early tea, and then down to the shop for the evening.  More walkies with Sammy, then feet up.  After 11 days Covid-19 clear, we got one new case today.  Sadly it's not linked with travel, so transmitted locally in Shetland.

Not that Shetland is ever busy, slighty more people during the summer months, but I'll certainly be sticking to quiet rural walks for some time yet.  Our walk this afternoon was quiet, a few cars passed by, the odd sheep and that was it.  Thank goodness this road wasn't snowed in, and we were able to pass.  Taken along the Grobsness road, walking towards the Alps, near Gonfirth.
