Free thought alley.

I have been meaning to post this sign eversince Saverio, a marine meccanica died. Like all the other mechanics here, in the summer he used to wear a faded black vest during working hours but on sundays he was very smart, even wearing a bow tie.
In oppressively hot summer afternoons, behind the marina, a group of them would sit around a little table beneath this sign and discuss things.
The sign says "Free Thought Alley - Open to all those who do not raise their voice and argue with logic.

It wasn't  the best day to take the boat out but Humpy needed a break and the boat needed an outing in lumpy sea to clean some grot off the hull.

It was gratifying to see some friendly, smiling faces at the marina.
