Meet the Leeks

I’ve just evicted this family from our allotment. Their brief moment of fame ended in a leek and potato’ soup with the potatoes also from the allotment.

It’s been a busy day dealing with the fallout from yesterday’s appalling Council meeting. Much anger and upset over the conduct of the Chair, formal complaints made.

In between times I went for a run and this afternoon we went for a walk in the mizzly rain. Susan is feeling a little better although this cold is a beast of an infection. She thanks you for your good wishes
