Eva had said she'd like to start jumping. She had a bad experience not so long after we got Jack when we used the crap plastic poles at the yard and he dragged one with him half way up the school and she came off. She's done poles since but gets very tense and nervous. Pickering had half term show jumping and the first class was poles on the ground which was ideal to get her used to the occasion - getting him ready, walking the course and for him to see all the fillers and brightly coloured jumps and I was allowed to go in the ring with her. She was the only one entered in the class so she got a first place rosette! She says it doesn't count but I think it does because it's about getting out and facing your fears. We stopped and watched the next class (40cm) and she is keen to give it a go. So I think the next step is to hire the arena with show jumps for an hour and have a play.
After we'd got back and done all the jobs we had a dog to walk. I've not had him before so we took him solo. He's a bull dog and a lovely boy but was exhausted after just a short walk down the road and struggling to breathe through his squashed up nose :0( Think it's very sad what they have done to the breed in the name of fashion.
This evening we went to the cinema to see Sing 2. The first film is one of my favourites so was really looking forward to it but unfortunately I couldn't keep my eyes open! Gutted!
