An old recruit.

I haven’t used this dummy for about 5 years, it has stood in the corner at the side of my desk gathering dust!!! 

I needed it today to make alterations to R’s new work clothes. The fabric is a fine jersey which is heavy (a contradiction in terms …..but a fabric I’ve never worked with before) and an absolute nightmare!!! 

It’s looking a bit decrepit as the blue covering is coming unstuck. It will be ok for this job, then I will attempt to reattach it. 

A productive sewing session with the tv showing recorded programmes. 

Storm Eunice has visited us but not with any dire consequences locally. We managed the afternoon walk with a bit of difficulty, either fighting the wind or being driven along in a hurry.
