We got some!

Heavy rain arrived about 11.00 am, it came dark and I had to put a light on. 
Around 11.30 am we had the first flakes of snow. Large and quite wet. Chris confidently stated it wouldn’t settle! 
The flakes got bigger and a little settled on the grass, half an hour later it was white over - pictures 1 and 2 acroos the top taken at 11.50 and 12.29.

It has continued steadily with smaller flakes until it stopped about half an hour ago. A pretty covering.
My son who lives in the village reported that there was quite a build up of traffic outside his house and we heard via the village Facebook that cars were stuck going over Harden Spring to Keighley but people were still driving up. The crazy weather continues.

In other news Grace reported that she and friend Zoe were on their separate ways to London after some delays. A miracle I think, I do hope they got there in time for the performance.
