Oak damage.

This is an oak tree I walk past regularly, but only today noticed this damage low down on the bark.  I think it must be new.  It doesn't look like the usual damage from deer chewing or antler-rubbing, but I suppose the straight lines might just be caused by a very mild attack by a tusked muntjac.
