Handy hands

JensPhotos has set the theme for this MonoMonday as ‘hands’, or something to do with them.
 
The blip is of my old Sony Handycam.  Before I started on Blipfoto this was my main tool (see my profile), and I resurrected it a short while ago because of its terrific zoom capabilities.  Yesterday I dug it out to capture two male pheasants having a punch-up on the other side of the field (out the back), but I needed a tripod and could not get set up in time.  Measures have been taken for a repeat performance.
 
At extra is a shot of my right hand. Mrs W says that fifty years ago this was very worrying, something to do with mimicking dead spiders I think.
