Afternoon out...

Typical Bank Holiday Monday, blustery and showery. I pottered about the house in the morning but decided to visit Rosslyn Chapel this afternoon.

I can't believe I haven't visited it before now. I joined the guided tour with tourists from the US, Japan and Europe.The potted history the guide gave included references to the Da Vinci Code as well as other legends and myths and each one of the tourist nodded sagely.

None of these things detracted from the Chapel itself, it is beautiful and you can't help but be astonished at the craftsmen who created it 500 years ago.

If ever you have the opportunity please see it.
