Sunshine

It was a beautiful morning and I almost drove to work with the roof down on the car.
I decided 8.5C was a tad on the nippy side, even if I put all the heating on.

I’ve only one more week to work there and today my nurse told me she is handing in her notice too! She’s not happy in her work; even less so now I’m not going to be there.
She’s accepted an offer to move in with friends in Southampton and make a fresh start down there, which I think will do her the world of good.

Tonight’s tea was chicken, sage and onion burger with sweet potato wedges (both home made) and a corn on the cob to go with them. I missed the butter on mine :-(
