SNOW!

I have spared you the trauma of the contact lenses (so far) but the other day I dropped one in the bathroom and despite a very thorough search for the small, transparent object, I came away empty-handed and long-sighted.

Still, never give up, and I rang Vision Express to order a new set, which we drove up to Chorley to collect, this morning. We decided to have breakfast at Calico Lounge, for which Dom joined us, and that was all very lovely, and enhanced by the unexpected snow falling outside.

By the time it was time to leave and head back for college, though, it was beginning to settle and, to cut a long story short, the journey down to Salford was longer than expected.

Still, we made it, and I had an enjoyable afternoon learning about multi-sampling before the Minx and I went to see 'Uncharted' at the cinema. (If you like Indiana Jones, then I would recommend,)
