We're potentially going out with the readyfield hounds (following a scent laid by a runner, not fox hunting!!) On Sunday. So we have to get Buddy tidied up. So his hairy legs came off as just too much work to clean them off when he lives out. Got half a wheelbarrow full of hair! Then because I couldn't blend the two different clips I had to turn his trace clip into a blanket clip which is higher than I would have normally done it so doesn't look great. Just need to try and do something with his mane now. 

It seemed to take most of the day as I had to hose off all the mud, then hack what I could off with scissors, then shampoo his legs and towel dry them. Then leave him in for the afternoon to dry off completely before getting the clippers on him. What an effort!! For what is still quite an awful hair cut!! He is bound to be mega excited and get all sweaty so this will help him keep cool as well. 

Eva was desperate to have a go at jumping today as well so we were really late getting on. Fortunately Georgia and Kim stopped to help as I think she would have chickened out if it was just me there. No photos as I did a video instead. We put a tiny cross pole up and he did a biggish jump over it but she sat it well and wants to do more. Kim so good with her. I'd rather pay her for lessons as she doesn't seem to be getting anywhere with her current instructor. 

Home late to make dinner, collect van etc.
