Air mail letters!

When turning out a stationary drawer I came across a selection of old prepaid airmail letters including some nice bird ones. Also a ‘bluey’ which we used to send air mail to people in the forces when overseas. Last used when our son was in Afghanistan.

I can not remember the last time we send an air mail letter! We have a few friends overseas but now use email and 
occasionally send a card but we do not write letters….a lost art?

Lovely to see some sun today but still chilly. Went for a bike ride with a group of friends around the blue plaques of Richmond, Kew and Sheen. We also visited a new cycling cafe in Sheen where you can actually take the bikes indoors! Nice drinks and food.  Apparently the same people are hoping to open another similar on an old pub by the entrance to Home Park.
