Went to a fascinating exposition in the Musée Dauphinois in Grenoble - all about the history of women's underwear.

Of course, the men in the group were very enthusiastic about the trip - but it was actually very interesting for everyone to see how the female figure has been squashed in, pushed up and generally mucked about with over the centuries.

A lot of the garments must have been so uncomfortable to wear - not to mention downright dangerous at times. Quite glad that I'm around in this era of much more user-friendly stuff ............................
